I have an unnatural fear of pooping in the workplace.

"The base offense is one in which a center and two tight ends surround the football, three receivers..."

“The base offense is one in which a center and two tight ends surround the football, three receivers are split right, three more split left and two quarterbacks stand behind in a shotgun, one of whom has to be at least 7 yards behind the line of scrimmage.”

-
In another post that will appeal to almost no one, here is genius innovation in sport at work. If you know anything about football formations, you will know that they all are essentially the same. You have linemen, recievers, possibly a tight end, a single quarterback, and a running back or two.

What this offense does is make everyone a reciever (potentially). Only five recievers are allowed downfield, but since each reciever is potentially eligible, and there are two quarterbacks, the possibilities are limitless as to how you can get the ball downfield, thus being extremely hard to defend against. You don’t know which quarterback is getting the ball, you don’t know which reciever is getting the ball, or who can run it. ALL 11 players are eligible to run the ball if they recieve it behind the line of scrimmage.

This really is genius.

Rivals High - A-11 offense could be the future of football

I know some of you keep more up-to-date than I do on such matters, so does anyone know (in the...

I know some of you keep more up-to-date than I do on such matters, so does anyone know (in the “I heard a rumor” sense) if Apple is planning any hardware updates to the iPod touch after the back to school promotion ends?

Of all the voices I imagined Peter Knox to have, imagine my...

Of all the voices I imagined Peter Knox to have, imagine my surprise when that one came out.

Apparently, the Packers really didn’t want him darkening the Lambeau hallways anymore and are set to move ahead with Aaron Rodgers.
